Hunter Biden’s lawyers seek new trial after gun conviction

Are the Fixes In?
I trust nothing and nobody, especially when it involves Democrats, elections, and the courts. Therefore, I struggled this morning to decide which story I wanted to share: should I pick the Squad member facing termination in a NYC primary today, or how Hunter Biden is seeking a new trial in his federal gun case? Since both topics have left me feeling sick to my stomach, I will touch on both. I apologize if my DML Report is longer than usual.

I am not shocked, at all, to report that Hunter’s lawyers want a new trial. They are arguing that a procedural error regarding the timing of the early June trial led to his guilty verdict.
His legal team contends that the trial court lacked jurisdiction due to pending appeals challenging his prosecution. They assert that his conviction should be overturned because, although the appeals court had dismissed the appeals before the trial began, it had not issued a "mandate" formally notifying the lower court of its rulings.
Biden's lawyers highlight the absence of a mandate returning the case to the trial court after the 3rd US Circuit Court of Appeals rejected two of his appeals in late May.
The Third Circuit, however, had not issued its mandate regarding the orders dismissing either appeal," his lawyers wrote. "Thus, when this Court impaneled the jury on June 3, 2024, and proceeded to trial, it did so without jurisdiction."
TOTAL BULLSH*T
If Hunter’s legal team manages to pull this off, you know the fix is in. At the very least, a new trial would probably yield the same outcome, but it postpones sentencing until after the election. If you don’t believe the Biden White House had a hand in this, then I've got oceanfront property in Kansas to sell you for $1.
IN NYC TODAY
As noted, I do not trust elections. Thus, I fear that cheating will occur today in NYC. I am concerned that the Muslim Brotherhood will do whatever it takes to keep anti-Semitic lawmakers in office. Case in point: According to polls, Rep. Jamaal Bowman is in danger of becoming the first Democratic House member this cycle to lose a primary. He should walk away as a loser, but if he somehow wins, then you'll know the fix is in.
Bowman is a bottom feeder, and he should lose by a huge margin due to his terrible behavior and radical positions. Additionally, there is a multimillion-dollar effort from pro-Israel groups to unseat him.
The two-term loud-mouth is a member of the House’s “Squad”. He has taken radical stances on Israel and other issues that have pleased Muslims and anti-Jew protestors, but he has rubbed other voters the wrong way.
Polls show him trailing George Latimer, Westchester’s popular county executive, prompting his partner-in-crime, AOC, to describe him as the victim of unfair attacks and heavy spending from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).
You may recall in 2023, during a wild weekend vote on keeping the government funded, Bowman pulled a fire alarm in the Capitol building. Pressured by Republicans, he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor.
Roughly thirty-days later, Bowman voted against a House resolution affirming that the chamber stood with Israel following the attacks by Hamas that left more than 1,000 people dead.
In the months since, Aipac’s affiliated super PAC has spent over $14 million in advertising to defeat Bowman.
Last week, the race became the most expensive House primary in U.S. history, with ad spending at $24 million.
If Bowman were to lose, he would be the first member of the Squad to be ousted. I would love to see him and the other pro-Hamas champions AOC, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib be removed from office by voters. However, as noted, I don’t trust anything, and I believe the pro-Hamas movement is well-funded, so don’t be shocked if he pulls off a surprising come-from-behind victory.

Heck of a Wednesday
During tomorrow's hearing on the government's classified documents case against President Trump, his defense team will argue that his due process rights were violated during the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago, and that attorney-client privilege was breached.
The hearing, scheduled for 11 a.m., will be sealed to protect grand jury secrecy and materials claimed under attorney-client privilege. A subsequent hearing at 1 p.m. will be open to the public.
In August 2022, FBI agents raided Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, and recovered 15 boxes of classified materials. Trump's defense will argue that the evidence obtained during the search should be dismissed, claiming the warrant "lacked the particularity required by the Fourth Amendment" and was therefore unconstitutional.
BIDEN 2024
BUYING THE NARRATIVE?
In a new campaign blast email, President Biden attacked President Trump's fundraising efforts, claiming he is raising money from billionaires. Yet, Biden failed to mention his recent receipt of a $20 million donation from billionaire Mike Bloomberg.
The email goes on to appeal to small donors for $25, suggesting that Biden's team intends to win the 2024 election by any means necessary. They claim they want to control how the media reports on their efforts, with the ominous line: 'Your $25 is how we harness the news cycle, retake the narrative, and do all the other things necessary to win this race.'

TWO TERRIBLE MURDERS

Greater detail has emerged surrounding the deaths of two women recently killed by illegal aliens allowed into the country under Joe Biden's administration.
Rachel Morin
Prosecutors in Harford County, Maryland, call the rape and murder of 37-year-old Rachel Morin, a mother of five, the most horrific case in the county’s history. They allege that Martinez Hernandez, an illegal immigrant, brutally assaulted Morin, leaving her with ten to fifteen head wounds before strangling her to death.
Before crossing the border, Martinez Hernandez was accused of having murdered a woman in his native El Salvador after leaving a bar with the victim. The woman’s body was discovered days later.
Days after Hernandez’s arrest, former President Donald Trump called Morin’s family to offer his condolences. According to her sister, Layman, the heartfelt call lasted about half an hour. President Biden has not yet reached out.
Layman described the hardest part since her sister’s murder as taking Morin’s two youngest children to her gravesite on Mother’s Day, stating, “No eight- and ten-year-old should have to visit their mother’s gravesite on Mother’s Day.”
Jocelyn Nungaray
Houston - Harris County prosecutors presented evidence surrounding the pair of Venezuelan illegal aliens who allegedly murdered Houston 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray.
Johan Jose Martinez-Rangel, 22, and Franklin Pena, 26, were arrested by the Houston Police Department on Thursday after Jocelyn’s body was discovered in a shallow creek last Monday morning. Investigators allege that Martinez-Rangel grabbed her neck, got on top of her, and covered her mouth. They then removed her pants and undergarments, bound her hands and feet, and assaulted her. An autopsy report listed Jocelyn’s cause of death as strangulation and noted cuts on her backside.
Both men had illegally entered the U.S. through the southern border into El Paso and were released into the
country on their own recognizance by the Biden administration. After the murder, prosecutors claim Pena and Martinez-Rangel tried to gather money to leave town, and Martinez-Rangel shaved his beard to avoid recognition.
