> TRUMP Being TRUMP
We all know how much Trump loves golf, and he enjoys talking about the great people he has played with over time. At a rally over the weekend, Trump spoke about the golf legend Arnold Palmer and him being a fantastic man. He then took the conversation to an entirely new level by speaking about the size of Palmer’s penis. It was definitely unexpected, and it did not go over well with the media.

According to Trump, Palmer gained the “awe” of his fellow golfers when showering in the locker room. For some reason, Trump felt obligated to share this tale during a presidential campaign rally with a mere two weeks left on the clock. Every mainstream media outlet carried the story, and as you can imagine they ripped him to shreds.

I posted a question this morning asking my Facebook readers if they thought it was a bad idea for Trump to talk about a man’s penis size at a rally filled with women, and some children too. I then took a shower and got dressed. Twenty minutes later I took a look to see over 2,000 comments. Most of what I read was expected — people gave him a pass and said it was Trump being Trump. Others took the lane of stating they are voting for him regardless. Not sure you can argue with them. I for one thought it was totally unnecessary, but it won’t drive me to vote for Harris.

FACEBOOK COMMENTS:
Joy Weatherup Anthis: He’s been all over the place seeing the people!!! He’s relatable at these levels. This is the guy I met 8 days after taking office. He’s real and he’s passionate about EVERYTHING that makes this country what it is.

Carol Griffin: Hey, it's Trump. It doesn't surprise me at all. I'm still voting for him

John Maloney: He’s a guy — that is what is wrong these days. You just can’t be a guy.

Cathy Green: Trump talks like he’s with a bunch of friends — or guys at maybe a gathering. I winced when I heard him said that; he’s never ‘politically correct’ and I know he was just reminiscing a story, but some stories need to be not told to the world

FROM DENNY

>OBAMA SAYS

Former President Barack Obama argued Saturday that “everything a president says is serious,” aiming to criticize Donald Trump. However, Obama's credibility on the issue is questioned due to his ongoing defense of President Biden, whose health and memory have been repeatedly scrutinized.

Biden has repeated gaffe after gaffe for years. Kamala Harris can barely string together sentences to form a cohesive statement, and one that actually makes sense. Hillary Clinton once asked “what difference does it make?” over the deaths of Americans in Benghazi. Obama really has some set to be claiming Trump is the one who struggles to sound serious as a president…

>Musk Offering Big Bucks

Elon Musk, announced that his America PAC would award a $1 million every day to someone new who signs his petition until Election Day.

“We really want to get as many people as possible to sign this petition, so I have a surprise for you,” Musk announced on Saturday at a town hall in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. “And it’s that we’ll be awarding a million dollars randomly to people who have signed the petition. Every day, until the election.”

The petition reads, “The First and Second Amendments guarantee freedom of speech and the right to bear arms. By signing below, I am pledging my support for the First and Second Amendments.”

The first million-dollar award was given to John Dreher, who described himself as a “big fan” of Musk.

McDonald’s Apprentice

TRUMP 2024

Written by Denny

Donald Trump made a campaign stop on Sunday at a McDonald's in Pennsylvania, a key swing state for the upcoming election.

Trump donned an apron, took over the fry station, and even served food at the drive-thru window. When asked about his favorite McDonald's order, Trump responded, "I like it all. I like every ounce of it. Everything! But I do like the french fries, where I’ll be working."

Trump didn't miss the opportunity to call out Vice President Kamala Harris for what he called a fabricated story about her working at McDonald's while in college. Harris has claimed she "did fries" at McDonald's, but, as Trump pointed out, there’s no mention of the job in her resumes, applications, or memoirs. Trump quipped, “I’ve now worked 15 minutes more than Kamala. She never worked here.” He added, “We have checked with McDonald’s, and they say definitively that there is no record of Lyin’ Kamala Harris ever having worked there.”

Trump also criticized Harris and President Biden for their policies, claiming that they are harming businesses like McDonald’s by threatening to end franchises, which could lead to losing jobs and opportunities.

As Election Day nears, Trump’s poll numbers in battleground states like Pennsylvania show him pulling ahead of Harris. Betting markets are also placing their bets on Trump, seeing him as the favorite in recent days. His latest campaign stop, mixing fast food with sharp political jabs, shows Trump connecting with voters while highlighting Harris’s questionable claims.

Calling in big backup

HARRIS 2024

Written by DML

Hip Hop star Lizzo made big headlines over the weekend. Lizzo’s comments at a rally in Detroit were not only tone-deaf but outright disconnected from reality. While praising Detroit, she claimed that if Kamala Harris wins, “the whole country will be like Detroit... proud and resilient."

It’s baffling that Lizzo would hold up Detroit as an example of what America should strive to become. Detroit has long been plagued by crime, economic collapse, and mass exodus — a city that once thrived but now struggles to recover from decades of failed Democratic policies. Suggesting the entire country should mirror this is either ignorant or a willful attempt to distort the truth.

Lizzo's attempt to paint Harris in a positive light by connecting her victory to Detroit's so-called "resilience" completely ignores the city's staggering crime rates and ongoing issues with poverty. Critics on social media were quick to condemn her remarks. One journalist pointed out, “Detroit is the worst city I’ve been to... Never wanna go back.” Others highlighted that the city's violent crime rates are far higher than the national average.

This comes from an artist facing her own controversies, with allegations of sexual harassment and a hostile work environment surfacing in a lawsuit filed by three former dancers. Lizzo’s moral authority is questionable at best, and her political endorsements seem as misguided as her rhetoric about the state of Detroit. Instead of endorsing a candidate based on half-truths, Lizzo would do well to acknowledge the real issues facing Detroit and America. Trying to glamorize failure doesn’t work.

ALSO: Lizzo posted a video flaunting her boarding of a private jet to campaign for Kamala Harris, a move that reeks of hypocrisy given her and Harris' vocal stance on climate change. In the video, Lizzo arrogantly declares, “This is how a bad bitch saves democracy. You hoes couldn’t even spell democracy!” … Maybe she should learn how to spell “diet.”

III: BORDERLESS

Cartel Wars

Written by Ryan

Trained gunmen fired at least a dozen shots at the offices of El Debate, a major newspaper in Sinaloa, Mexico, amid a fierce cartel turf war in the region.

The attack occurred Thursday night in downtown Culiacan, where gunmen in two vehicles arrived, and one, armed with a rifle, fired indiscriminately at the building. The bullets hit the front of the building and damaged three parked vehicles. After the attack, the gunman returned to his car, and the convoy drove away.

Despite deploying soldiers, Mexico's government has largely avoided intervening in the brewing turf war. It’s primarily assumed the shooting was a warning to the newspaper.

The violence in Sinaloa is escalating due to a turf war between the Chapitos and Mayos factions of the Sinaloa Cartel. El Debate continues to report on the conflict, which has spread beyond the state. The war erupted after the July 25 capture of cartel leader Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada, orchestrated by his godson, Joaquin Guzman Lopez. Guzman tricked El Mayo into a meeting, captured him, and handed him over to U.S. agents in Texas. Since then, Guzman's Chapitos faction has battled Zambada's loyalists.

International press freedom groups consistently rank Mexico as one of the most dangerous countries for journalists, citing the impunity cartels and government officials have in targeting, attacking, and killing reporters, both domestic and foreign.
